We have stayed at the Marina Hotel several times in the past. Happy hour started at 5pm with 2 for 1 drinks. The Lobby Lounge called Blue had a live duo performing at night with music videos playing on the wall of the hotel the rest of the time. The hotel concierge was very helpful in booking reservations. Great selection of hot and cold breakfast food with an omlette station and even some champagne.Īlthough we booked a room with a breakfast included, we usually try to have dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area (most are in walking distance). Hostess knew us after the first visit and always greated us warmly. There is also a small fitness center on the island.īreakfast at the Aquarious Restaurant was always a pleasure. The island is right behind the airport so you can also watch the planes landing and taking off. The menu was OK but could have had a healthier selection. We often enjoyed lunch and a few drinks overlooking the beach. Service at the restaurant on the private island was great. The flamingos strole around the adult beach. The beach doesn't feel as crowded as other hotels and has a pair of beautiful beaches (one for families). We always enjoy spending the day at the private island and love sailing there on the motor launch from the lower lobby.
